I developed print and textile designs for the Chalayan Autumn/Winter
2006-7 collection, including flocking, embroidery, and quilting as well
as printing. I made the main print out of hundreds (thousands?) of seeds
and beans. The brief for the collection was about future anthropology,
and the ideas came from a variety of sources including craft books,
news about astronauts, graffiti, photos of the outer reaches of space,
and survivalist pamphlets.
