I wore this shirt everyday for 6 weeks in order to investigate the emotional connections we develop with clothing. The hessian shirt slowly disintegrated over the 6 weeks, changing from a stiff formal fabric to a soft weave of golden hair. While the shirt faded away, becoming less and less wearable, not only did I become more attached to it but everyone around me became increasingly connected to its development.
