WGSN
An interesting tidbit via PSFK. It talks about how WGSN is a crutch for designers that ultimately makes them less creative. I had a free subscription as a student and was encouraged to use it, but I found it quite clunky and uninteresting (although in light of this article I'd be interested to take a look at it again). Anyway, read the comments. They are the most interesting part!

I had never heard of this WGSN service before, and I have to admit that it sounds fairly interesting. I wonder, though, what impact services of this kind have on local fashion.
For instance, there was a comment about someone who enjoyed knowing what was being worn on the street in Tokyo, Rotterdam, Sydney, etc... and I started thinking about how they're obviously trying to design on a global scale. Is there anything like "local" fashion anymore?
There are a bunch of trend reporting services, even in other industries. I think independent designers don't really use tools like WSGN because they are very expensive to subscribe to...so local fashion is pretty safe, IMHO!
Hello. And Bye.
good morning people. I'm really into shoes and I was looking for that exact model. The prices for the boots were about 220 dollars on every site. But definitively I base this location selling them for half price. I really like those gucci sneakers. I will probably order them. what is your opinion?
